A series of banners at train stations are gaining the attentionof a captive audience: waiting commuters. Over the tag line “Closer than you think...,” banners tout Englewood’s range of top-ranked health services and physicians, as well as its close proximity. These banner points are specially directed to North Jersey residents affected by the impending closing of nearby Pascack Valley Hospital.
...while waiting in the movies and supermarkets.
Leveraging the train station banners, a :30 spot was created to run on-screen, pre-movie, at the regional 16-Plex theater. The same spot will be aired on
video monitors at local major supermarket checkouts, on cable TV, and on Englewood Hospital’s website.
...with an interesting advertorial campaign.
Combining advertising and advice, R&A created a series
of full-page print advertorials, each featuring one of Englewood’s medical specialties – Cardiac Surgery,
Cancer Care or Joint Replacement. Within the page, a traditional ad is surrounded by interesting editorial-type articles on different aspects of the featured specialty,
plus healthy advice.
Successful? Yes. Englewood Hospital gained inquiries
from physicians and patients in the targeted area, as well
as increased web hits and inquiries about the special cardiac and orthopedic services offered.
